Welcome to the Oyster World Tour. It started with a round the world trip in 2009. I didn’t have a camera with me then but I did set up a blog, which is now incorporated into this blog. The photographic era began with a visit to Moldova and Ukraine in October 2012. I regret that I took so few photos on that trip, especially as it included Odessa and Crimea. Inevitably the posts will date as things photographed change and comments made are no longer relevant. I use different data sources for information and, where relevant, websites are shown should anyone want more details. The comments made throughout are mine as are any mistakes. Hopefully, the blog will give you an idea of what there is to see and do in the places listed. There are lots of professional travel blogs, of course – this just happens to not be one of them…

There are over 120 posts that cover countries, counties and different topics. To access the blog: click on “Menu” , then click on “Blog” and then load more posts until you find one that interests you. As far as I am aware this blog is covered by the WordPress privacy policy and that any data collected from visiting this site is administered by them. I do not know who sees this blog unless a comment, or “like”, is made. This is a “hobby blog” and is not monetised, so you won’t get plagued by pop-ups & adverts. Should you be interested in accessing any of the websites featured for further information, then you will be subject to their terms & conditions. The websites I have used for information and data are all legitimate…
